Southern Chorus Prelims 2002

The BABS Southern Chorus Preliminary competition was held at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield on Saturday 30th November 2002. The top three choruses on the day were as follows:

First place
GREAT WESTERN CHORUS
from Bristol
73.0% (1314 marks)

Second place
The ROYAL HARMONICS
from Windsor
69.6% (1253 marks)

Third place
THAMES VALLEY CHORUS
from Reading
67.2% (1209 marks)

The results from both prelims competitions are combined and the top twenty choruses qualify for the convention in Harrogate in May 2003. Anvil Chorus finished in 23rd position.
