BABS is an acronym for the British Association of Barbershop Singers. It is a national
association and its committees and personnel organise the competitions, judging and education events in Britain.
At the start of 2007 fifty-five barbeshop harmony clubs were registered with BABS, producing a combined membership of
1800 singers.
The BABS website has details of all the
barbershop harmony clubs throughout England, Scotland and Wales (none in Northern Ireland yet).
